Short Bio
Seok-hyun Song is a legal counsel at NAVER WEBTOON Ltd. He earned both his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. through the integrated master’s and doctoral program from KAIST. He then received his J.D. from Yonsei University Law School and subsequently passed the Bar Examination.
Before joining NAVER WEBTOON, Mr. Song built an extensive legal career. He served as an attorney in Yulchon’s IP & Technology practice group and as an in-house counsel at the global game company Smilegate Co., Ltd., where he handled legal and compliance matters. Prior to that, he was an attorney at LIN LLC, handling litigation and providing legal advice on intellectual property (IP), information protection, and technology issues for domestic and international clients. He also served as an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science (currently the Department of Cyber Science) at the Republic of Korea Naval Academy.
